Assignment: Matching objects with their correct color.

Objective: To help the children learn colors, as well as the names of objects they use everyday.

When & How: I will take groups of three children at a time to the back of the classroom and work one-on one with them. I will spend approximately 20 minutes with each group.

Materials: We will be using real objects (for example an apple) as well as flash cards with black and white pictures, along with flash cards with the color on them and the name of the color underneath.

Homework: The children will be asked to go home and choose one object. They will come to class tomorrow and share with the class, the object they choses and the color of this object.
