Vantaa City Museum collects objects, including photographs, related to the past and present of Vantaa, the fourth most populated city of Finland and part of the inner core of the Finnish Capital Region. Research work is presented during changing exhibitions and in publications. The museum participates in the protection and documentation of the cultural environment in Vantaa and it is an expert in matters connected with the history of the area. Vantaa City Museum is housed in the Old Station Building in Tikkurila.
