My username reflects my real name and qualifications: I am a UK scientist/computer database tech currently working for European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), before that the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and before that the University of Aberdeen. As a biologist I take an interest in nutrition and sports science primary literature. I am an amateur triathlete, competing internationally and locally in the 50+ age-group.
