My Wikipedia Interests

[edit]

As someone who has used Wikipedia for to help with projects, I have a great respect for those who edit here. I know that I can't hold a candle to those folk, but I'll do my best. I will look for spelling and punctuation errors. I know it's not much but it is honest work. I'll also help with sources and updates to pages when new information becomes available.

Article Evaluation

[edit]

As an avid gamer, I have played lots of video games, from many different genres. From horror, racing, FPS's, I played them all. I recently picked up on one my personal favorite games, Fallout 4. So I figured that I can do an article evaluation on the Fallout 4 Wikipedia page. So, I visited the Fallout 4 article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: citations, structure, and voice.

Citations

[edit]

I checked the citations to see how accurate and up to date they were, and all of them were. The oldest one was from 2015 and the oldest was from 2019. The information that the citations provided were accurate, the sources were truthful and appropriate. In all, this is a very well sourced article.

Structure

[edit]

The structure of this article is very well made and flows very well together. None of the paragraphs feel out of place or clunky. I saw no punctuation errors and saw no spelling mistakes. Everything was well placed and I saw no other errors.

Voice

[edit]

The article was very neutral and seeked to inform people about the game. The article took itself very seriously and had no informal language. It was very well written and formal

Conclusion

[edit]

Over all, the Fallout 4 Wikipedia article was very well written. I found no spelling errors or grammar errors, the citations were correct, and the article was very informative. It was professionally written and was structured masterfully. A very good article and a very good read.
