User:Andrewa/wrong article 2

Isn't this obvious?

[edit]

No. Or at least not to everyone. See User talk:Andrewa/wrong article 2#why this page on this page's user talk subpage.

Why anyone would want to confuse pages and articles in this way is a mystery to me. It seems completely illogical. There are non-article pages (notably DABs but also redirects and there may be others) in the main or article pagespace, and there are times when it's important to be clear that we mean articles and no other pages. And otherwise I'd say wrong page in the main namespace or maybe just wrong page, depending on the context and meaning intended at the time.

Fair enough? Of course, if you want (for whatever reason) to confuse people, then you should use unclear terminology, and resist attempts to use clear language. That I could understand. And of course accuse others of conflating and similar obscure terms, perhaps in the hope they don't understand those other terms either. Diffs available on request. I leave them out here because this isn't an attack page or about anybody's behavior in particular.

Their posts are their property. Be as obscure as you like. Just allow me to make clear and logical statements in my posts if I choose to do that.

Fair enough?

Is there a better term?
