Failed Featured Picture Candidates Nominations

These are the pictures which I nominated, but were not promoted to Featured status. They are still nice pictures, good enough to earn a subpage. I have learned much with each nomination about photography, and my choices should soon be of better quality. Please note that I could not have taken even these pictures, as I am a mediocre photographer.

  Nomination withdrawn, because of bad scan quality. - The earliest known depiction of a European cannon.
