My name is Peter Borten, L.Ac., M.Ac.O.M. I have been a licensed acupuncturist since 2000. As of August 2008, I will be a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (a graduate of Oregon College of Oriental Medicine's third class.) This recently approved degree is for practitioners of Chinese medicine wishing to delve deeper into Chinese medicine, work with experts in the field, and hone in on a specialty (mine is women's health and geriatrics).
I am also a certified Qigong instructor (Soaring Crane, Turtle Longevity, and Essence Qigong styles).
My interests on Wikipedia are articles related to Chinese medicine, herbs, Qigong, and Daoism.
