The Trip Show (TTS) is a Catalan pop-rock band formed in October 2007 in Badalona and dissolved three years later in the same city in November 2010. It is made up of singer and guitarist Xavier Cid Majó, pianist Toni Saigi Martínez, bassist Daniel Muros Monreal and drummer Adrià Soldevila Rovira, all natives of Badalona. On 28 January 2010, the group won the X MUSA competition as the best upcoming Catalan band, which took place at Casal de Cultura in Sant Adrià del Besòs.

The band was formed in October 2007 and they began their careers playing at different venues in Badalona, such as JamPep in Sant Josep, Teatre Salesià, Cor de Marina and Carretera 13 (now called Estraperlo); however, the band were soon playing in some of Barcelona's most well-known venues, such as Mephisto (now Bóveda), Razzmatazz and Apolo. Their concert at Apolo was part of the Nits Sello events promoted by Movistar. In June 2008, The Trip Show launched their first album Situation, recorded at Empty Estudios in Sant Adrià del Besòs. One year later, in July 2009, the band embarced on its tour of Spain with more that 10 concerts performed around the country.

With their first Spanish tour finished, the band released their second album Premature, recorded, mixed and refined at Maldita Crisis Sound. Premature marked a change in the band's style, which consolidated the group with a strong solo keyboard and brought in musical genres such as electro and even funk. In January 2010, their efforts over the first two years paid off as the group received the award of Best Group at the X MUSA competition 2010 in Sant Adrià del Besòs, thanks to their single 'Goodbye Letter' from Premature. This is their only single with an official music video, published on Youtube on 2 April 2018, eight years after it was released.

In July 2010, The Trip Show performed on its second and last Spanish tour, with 16 concerts held over 31 days in the country's largest cities (Zaragoza, Bilbao, San Sebastián, Ourense, A Coruña, Madrid, Huesca, etc.) In November 2010, while composing their third album, the group decided to dissolve indefinitely.
