Harry Coyle (January 7, 1922 – February 19, 1996) was a sports television director who pioneered the on-air look of televised baseball games from the late 1940's to the late 1980's.[1]
In baseball, Coyle directed 36 World Series and 27 All-Star Games. He also directed numerous broadcasts in other sports, including 27 Rose Bowls and 12 U.S. Open golf championships.[1]
