Dean Zulich is a native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, residing in Seattle, Washington since 1995. Most famous for his success as the runner up on Vh1 reality telivision show The Shot (TV series) he has photographed Joss Stone, Ricki Lake, Seattle Seahawks, Victoria Secret's supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Marissa Miller and Miranda Kerr, Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sarah VonderHaar from America's Next Top Model.
Dean Zulich's work has appeared in Marie Claire, New York Times, JPG Magazine, Seattle Magazine, Bulb Magazine, ReFoto, MAXI Magazin, Redefine (magazine), The Stranger.
He graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Seattle[disambiguation needed] Photography Program in March 2007 and won fifteen different photography scholarships and contests along the way. Since taking the Best Portfolio of the Show award at his graduation, Zulich's career has ignited. Notable achievements include consecutive finalist selections in Digital Photo Pro Magazine's Emerging Pro Contest 2006 & 2007.In May 2008, he was induced into the Art Institute Alumni Hall Of Fame. He is a member of American Society of Media Photographers.
