Lotern Brown is a Kenyan Born (1986), Nairobi based, Entreprenuer with investmentts, in Health, Agriculture and Technology. He is also a renowned Medical Epidemiologist, Founder and Non Executive Chairman of Health Relief International, a Non Religious, Non – Political and a Not for Profit, establishment of Health Relief Associations also referred to as “local associations” with members comprising of Medics, Vets, Environmental scientists, and related disciplines, established in 2010, with foot prints in over 18 Countries around the World,registered in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and Somaliland as Health Relief Ethiopia, Health Relief International Kenya, Health Relief Somalia and Health Relief Somaliland, respectively. The organization works closely with Governments and local actors in continuously monitoring and gathering epidemic data, promoting cross-border surveillance towards prevention, preparedness, detection, response and recovery for appropriate management of emerging and endemic zoonotic and neglected Tropical diseases at the Human, Animal and Environmental interface.

Having worked for 15 years for major leadiing International medical NonGovernmental organizations in major roles especially championing for Maternal and Child Health and One Health approach , and recently leading Health Relief International Horn of Africa, Mr Brown announced in 2022 that he shall be stepping down from executive duties to focus on his entreprenuersip pursuits.
