Isa Irfan Abdulrashid Haji (born 18 April 2005) is a Bahraini technology entrepreneur. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Kulsha which he started at age 15 in 2020.
Early life and education
Isa Irfan Abdulrashid Haji was born in Manama, Bahrain on 18 April 2005, the first of three children (siblings are Yahya Irfan Abdulrashid Haji and Hamza Irfan Abdulrashid Haji) of Irfan Haji (Investment Banker) and Sarah Fiaz Karam, (Teacher/Social Worker). He completed his GCSEs and A-levels at the British School of Bahrain and enrolled for a degree in electrical engineering at the University of Cardiff in the UK.
Career In 2021, while in secondary school, he developed a website selling clothes designed for Bahraini teens. In 2020, he established Kulsha, to address the increased demand for logistics services by SMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, the company started catering to large enterprises through comprehensive logistics solutions with round-the-clock availability and fintech-integration to facilitate payment transactions and provide analytics.
His company initiated in the region a method of payment that accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum in e-commerce platforms. The app and website introduced virtual tours that allow customers to experience the vendor location in a virtual presence with the aid of augmented reality and virtual reality tools.
