My mission is to enter into the historical record descriptions of individuals who have made significant contributions to the economic study of creative industries. It is important and timely because it combines statistical analysis with behavioral economic models. This sub-specialty started around the mid-20th century so that although most of the key players are still living, they have surpassed retirement age. I would like to give them their due recognition on the Internet before they are gone. Currently their work is not adequately represented on the Internet despite extensive coverage in academic literature (which is not freely accessible via the Internet).
