Article Evaluation

[edit]

The beautiful art of music has been around for centuries and centuries. Artists today are inspired by music that was written ages ago. Many people listen to music even when they aren't physically playing it on their phones and such, but they hear it in the store, gym, doctor's office. It is played everywhere you go internationally. Music has a huge impact on the way people react and on their moods. For example if we listen to music that is melancholy it will most likely shift our mood to being sad. And if we listen to more up beat music it will probably lift our mood and make us feel happy. Music has a strange effect that subconsciously shift our mood by the genre that is playing. I visited the Fête de la Musique article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: like does the article have proper grammar , are there any pieces of text that are irrelevant, and is this article up to date?

When I read this article I noticed that it isn't grammatically correct to the extent it should be. Some of the sentences are not punctuated with the correct punctuation. Also some parts of the article could be more skilfully stated.

Another question that should be asked is "are there any irrelevant pieces in this article?" What I have concluded by reading this piece of text is that there are very few parts that aren't relevant to the rest of the article. This article is very straightforward and tells me everything that I need to learn about the topic and it gets straight to the point.

Lastly, as I was evaluating this article I wanted to see if it has been updated or if it is a recent article. From what I discovered was that the information was last edited October 2021 which makes it a relevant source.

Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Alisa and I am a senior in high school taking college classes. I come from a pretty large family of ten kids. I enjoy reading and going out with friends and family. My goal in the future is to become a pediatric nurse. Did you know that nurses walk about four to five miles per shift?
