Ali Jahami, BEng, ME, Ph.D., is presently Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering at Beirut Arab University (BAU)-Lebanon. His academic career began in 2016 as a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at BAU. In 2017 he moved to take a Research Associate post at BAU until 2020. He then took a Postdoctoral/Teaching position at BAU. Areas of research specialism include concrete structures, blast and impact loads, finite element analysis, and sustainable construction building materials. Dr. Ali is considered one of the most active researchers in Lebanon in his field. According to Google Scholar, he has around 152 citations and an H-index of 8. Besides his academic career, he has worked as a Structural Engineer since 2015, analyzing and designing different concrete and steel structures (Buildings, Tanks, Post-tension systems, Steel warehouses, etc.).
