I currently work for Cell Press as the editor of Patterns, a scholarly data science journal. I have worked in various roles in scientific publishing for more than 12 years, including launching the data-focused journal Scientific Data. For part of 2021 and 2022, I worked at the Leibniz DSMZ as the scientific coordinator for the WiLDSI Project, a science policy project examining issues related to digital sequence information (DSI).
