The Blue Ribbon award is considered to be the highest honor that an American school can achieve.

For 1982-2002 only

During the 1989-90 school year, Midland School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education^[1], the highest award an American school can receive.^[2]^[3]

For 2003-2006 only

During the 2006-07 school year, Midland School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education^[4], the highest award an American school can receive.^[5]^[6]
