Aspect Ratio is a public access, educational TV series produced and hosted by John David Morrison, Director of Education at the California Film Institute. The stated intention of the show is to profile and cover various aspects of filmmaking in the California Bay Area, including film history, interviews with filmmakers, and profiles on various notable film professionals. The shows are created and broadcast from the Community Media Center of Marin in San Rafael, California.

History

Morrison started Aspect Ratio started in October 2010 as an offshoot of the 33rd annual Mill Valley Film Festival.[1] In August 2011, Melinda Darlington-Bach and Cynthia Pepper started hosting "Flix Chix" segement on the show.[2] The show is produced at the Community Media Center of Marin in San Rafael, California and broadcast every 4th Sunday of the month.[3]
