Short background: I'm a pretty standard-issue hacker. Played with computers starting as a small child, over twenty years ago. American, beard, glasses, ponytail. Worked on Wall St, at universities, dotcoms, consulted. Can speak both biz and tech. Think the net will somehow make the human race better, whatever that means. Been waiting for wikipedia to exist since reading Isaac Asimov and Ted Nelson. Somewhat opinionated, but almost always willing to be convinced.
