Anwar Jahangir: Born at Karachi, Pakistan, on February 10, 1959. He is the eldest son of G.A. Jahangir and Sabra Bilqees Jahangir.

He did his matriculation in 1972 from Government School # 6, Islamabad, Intermediate in 1974 from DJ Science College, Karachi, and finally MBA from California State University, USA in 1985. He had worked for Gulf Majik Market and Kmart as Manager during his education in the USA.

He joined Shalimar Recording & Broadcasting Company based in Islamabad, Pakistan in 1985 as Controller of Administration & Marketing. Worked in different divisions of the Company and was elevated to the post of CEO in 2000. In 2006 he was transferred to Pakistan Television Corporation and was made CEO of Pakistan Television Foundation.
