History
[edit]Faire was founded in 2017 as Indigo Fair by Max Rhodes, Jeff Kolovson, Marcelo Cortes, and Daniele Perito. They met while working at Square[1].
In October 2020 the company raised a $170 million Series E round.[2]
In June 2021 the company raised a $260 million funding round led by Sequoia at a valuation of $7 billion.[3]
Services
[edit]Faire provides wholesale specialty merchandise to retailers. The company gives retailers 60 days to pay for their product and allows free returns, giving more flexibility.[4] In 2019, the company offered 7,000 products, including stationary, apparel, and beauty products.
