Ahmed Jung is a Correspondent for Pakistan's only English news channel. He has been covering stories for multiple beats not only in Karachi but throughout Sindh and Balochistan for Express 24/7.

Ahmed Jung went to Institute of Business Management and in 2009 gained a BBA Hons degree in Finance and Management, though his academic pursuit did not reflect his current services but his interest always remained Journalism.

Even before graduating from university, he worked as a correspondent for a year at DawnNews Channel ( Pakistan's most prestigious media group).

In Dec 2009, Ahmed made his first big story on Pakistan's biggest banking heist through his network of contacts.

From Jan to April, Ahmed covered various news stories which include the Chelum Bomb Blasts on Sharah-e-Faisal and JPMC.

In Feb 2010, Ahmed broke an exclusive news story on a massive fraud in which five State departments ( Nadra, SBP, Pakistan Post, Income Tax, Sales Tax) were involved. Once the story was aired 32 commission officers were arrested by the FIA on corruption and fraud charges.

In April 2010, Due to differences with his employers Ahmed Jung resigned from his position. In May 2010 Ahmed was offered a Correspondent/Reporter job by the upcoming Media Group Television Media Networks(Express 24/7).

At Express 24/7, Ahmed has covered many key events including Cyclone Phet, City Court Bombing, Various Shoot outs, Pakistan floods, etc. He has also visited Interior Sindh and Balochistan for his news stories.
