Agammemnon was born in Bern, Switzerland as Giovanni Lamberti on April 24th, 1965.

After a short time living in India he went on to finish his secondary education, and attend University of Warwick in England where he read History, and developed a keen interest in Indonesian history.

His research has been mainly involved with the Asian military, but his interests are very varied.
