Robert Murray (21 December 1887 - 5 December 1967) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life

His father was Robert Murray [Snr], a baker.
His mother was Janet McLean Fernie (born c. 1860) from Kinglassie, Fife. Robert [Snr] and Janet married on 1 January 1883 in Kinglassie.[4]
Robert Murray was born on 21 December 1887 in Kinglassie.
He married Marie Alice Cowie (1891 - 1980) from Banffshire. They married at the Imperial Hotel in Aberdeen on 1 August 1924.[5]
They had a daughter Sheila Murray (13 October 1929 - 6 March 2022).

[edit]He died in Woodend hospital in Aberdeen on 5 December 1967. He died of bronchopneumonia and Parkinson's Disease. His usual address was then 10 Northcote Park.[6][7][8]
