John Reid Murray (28 January 1861 - 14 August 1906) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life

His father was Donald Murray (born c. 1829), a joiner from Greenock.
His mother was Annie Grier Gilchrist Reid (born c. 1838) from Ireland. Donald and Annie married on 14 October 1856 in Killead in Antrim, Ireland.
John Reid Murray was born in Helensburgh on 28 January 1861.
