Graham Murray (1907 - 1987) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was the poet George Murray (1 December 1875 - 28 December 1959), who wrote the Green Lady of Carrick.[3] He was from Darmellington in Ayrshire.[4]
His mother was Bessie Miller (c. 1875 - 24 October 1963) from Falkirk. George and Bessie married in 1905 in Kinning Park, Glasgow.
William Graham Miller Murray was born on 1907.
He married his second wife Bet Jellinek and moved to Berkshire in 1985.[7]
