Charles Murray (21 April 1894 - 17 March 1954) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was William McArthur Murray, a wood carver.
His mother was Jane Dempster. William and Jane married on 30 June 1893 in Old Machar, Aberdeen.
Charles Murray was born in Aberdeen on 21 April 1894.[3]
He married Margaret Stead, the daughter of solicitor Harold Stead of the Manor House, Wyke, Bradford.[4] They married in 1939.[5]

[edit]He died on 17 March 1954 at his home in Eastcote, Ruislip in London.[7]
