Charles de Mornay (18 March 1902 - 8 September 1969) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Alfred Leonard de Mornay (1856 - 15 July 1941) from Middlesex, England.
His mother was Margaretha Louise Frida Schoelles (c. 1874 - 18 December 1952) from Glasgow. Alfred and Margaretha married in Helensburgh, Argyll on 18 January 1901.
Charles Alfred George de Mornay was born on 18 March 1902 in Penang, Malaysia.
He sold Sharon House near Manorcunningham in County Donegal in Ireland in 1969.[3]

[edit]He died on 8 September 1969 at Brocket Farmhouse in Monkton near Prestwick in Ayrshire.[5]
