Henry Morley (March 1870 - 19 July 1937) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Thomas Morley (1815 - 1887), a cotton agent from Nottinghamshire, England.
His mother was Frances Catherine Spencer (1826 - 23 December 1923) from Nottinghamshire. Thomas and Frances married in Basford, Nottinghamshire in 1847.
Henry Morley was born c. March 1870 in Nottingham.[3]
He married the artist Isobel Miller Hutchison (11 February 1873 - 7 July 1948) from Stirling. Henry and Isobel married in 1901 in Blythswood, Glasgow.
