Colin Morison (16 December 1734 - 2 May 1809) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Walter Morison (1693 - 19 January 1780), a minister.
His mother was Elizabeth Ker. Walter and Elizabeth married on 5 February 1729 in Rathven, Banffshire.
Colin Morison was born on 16 December 1734 in the Deskford Manse, Banffshire. He was baptised in Deskford on 18 December 1734.[3]
He moved to Rome around 1754.[4]
