Robert Monro (14 May 1784 - 6 October 1829) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life

His father was James Monro (1760 - 1841) from Fort Augustus.

His mother was Ann Smith. James and Ann married on 4 April 1783 in Brechin, Angus.

Robert Munro was born on 14 May 1784 in Brechin.[3][4] He was baptised 2 days later there.

He died in Montrose on 6 October 1829, aged 45.[6]
