William Watt Milne (30 March 1865 - 10 March 1949) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was William Milne (9 November 1832 - June 1916) from Old Machar, Aberdeen.
His mother was Helen Watt (10 December 1833 - July 1913) from New Deer, Aberdeenshire. William and Helen married on 31 December 1857 in Aberdeen.
William Watt Milne was born on 30 March 1865 in Edinburgh.[3]
He married the artist Mary Allan (born 6 June 1872) from Upper Largo in Fife. They married on 25 March 1894 in Edinburgh.
His nephew was the artist John Maclauchlan Milne (12 August 1885 - 28 October 1957).[4]

[edit]He died on 10 March 1949 at St. Ives in Huntingdonshire, near Cambridge.[5]
