Maria Hodge (15 November 1836 - 18 March 1915) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Her father was Thomas Hodge (12 February 1801 - 19 September 1879), an Inland Revenue officer from South Queensferry.
Her mother was Mary McLarty (c. 1810 - 31 March 1886) from Campbeltown, Argyll. Thomas and Mary married on 8 November 1831 in Campbeltown.
Maria Hodge was born on 15 November 1836 in Bowmore in Islay.
She married the artist John Menzies (26 August 1828 - 22 September 1918) from Banchory, Aberdeenshire. They married on 29 June 1869 in Aberdeen.
Their son John Thomas Menzies (15 June 1870 - 21 December 1939) also became an artist.
