John Thomas Menzies (15 June 1870 - 21 December 1939) was a Scottish painter and teacher.[1][2]

His father was John Menzies (25 August 1828 - 22 September 1918), an artist, art teacher and carpenter from Banchory, Aberdeenshire.[4]
His mother was the artist Maria Hodge (15 November 1836 - 18 March 1915) from Bowmore in Islay. John and Maria married on 29 June 1869 at 114 King Street in Aberdeen.[5][6]
John Thomas Menzies was born on 15 June 1870 in Aberdeen.[7]
