Archibald Imlach (7 June 1852 - 12 September 1903) was a Scottish painter.
Life
[edit]His father was Francis Brodie Imlach (1819 - 24 December 1891), a pioneer of modern dentistry from Edinburgh.
His mother was Marion Ainslie (born c. 1819). They married on 15 November 1852 in Ormiston near Edinburgh.
They had 5 daughters and two sons. One son was Archibald Francis Imlach, born 7 June 1852 in Edinburgh.
Archibald married Henrietta Gordon in 1881 in Edinburgh.
The family stayed at 13 Ravelston Park.[1]
Their daughter Marion Ainslie Imlach was born in 1882, in St. George parish, Edinburgh. She unfortunately died young, at the age of 16 on 15 December 1898.[2]

[edit]He died on 12 September 1903.
He is buried at the north of the Dean Cemetery in Edinburgh, along with his daughter Marion who predeceased him.[3]
