David Owen Martin (12 November 1865 - 31 October 1936) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was John Martin (5 July 1818 - 1 April 1877), a tailor and clothier from Campbeltown in Kintyre.

His mother was Ann Skelton (c. 1832 - 4 June 1896) from England. They married on 28 November 1847 in Glasgow.

David Owen Martin was born on 12 November 1865 in Glasgow.[7][8]

He married Maggie Torrance (8 August 1866 - 30 December 1964) from Saltcoats in Ayrshire. They married in 1888 in Ardrossan.
