Agnes Fulton Martin (11 September 1904 - 1 January 1972) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

Life

Her father was William Martin (9 January 1857 -), a leather merchant and tanner from Glasgow.[3]

Her mother was Isabella Hamilton Robertson (26 December 1865 -) from Glasgow. William and Isabella married in Kelvin, Glasgow in 1898. They moved to stay at the The Linn in Cove, Dunbartonshire.

Agnes Fulton Martin was born in Partick, Glasgow on 11 September 1904.

She married Harry Valentine Hall (2 September 1905 - 1 April 1959) from Surrey, England. They married on 3 September 1938 at Lindowan Church, Cove, Dunbartonshire.[4]

They moved to Surrey and stayed at Dover Barton in Reigate.[5]
