Florence Sabine Pasley (5 July 1871 - 25 May 1956) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]Her father was Maitland Warren Bouverie Sabine Pasley (17 July 1834 - 6 June 1881). He was the son of Thomas Sabine Pasley, the 2nd baronet of Craig, near Dumfries.
Her mother was Katherine Henson Grehan (8 January 1842 - 8 Janauary 1905) from Deesa, Mumbai, India. Katherine and Maitland married on 20 October 1859 at Begaum, India.[3]
Florence Sabine Pasley was born on 5 July 1871 in Montrose, Angus.
She married the artist Harrington Mann (7 October 1864 – 28 February 1937) from Glasgow. They married on 3 April 1893.
Her daughter Cathleen Mann (31 December 1896 – 9 September 1959) was an artist and costume designer.
