James Hamilton Mackenzie (5 December 1875 - 29 March 1926) was a Scottish painter and engraver.[1][2]

Life

His father was Alexander Campbell Mackenzie (born c. 1849), a cooper from Aberdeen.

His mother was Christina Hamilton (born c.1851) from Balfron. Alexander and Christina married on 11 July 1872 in Glasgow.

James Hamilton Mackenzie was born on 5 December 1875 in Dennistoun, Glasgow at 22 Brandon Street.
