Donald Mackenzie (10 July 1844 - 15 December 1924) was a Scottish painter.[1] He was also a lawyer and a Writer to the Signet.

His father was the artist and lawyer Daniel Mackenzie (22 June 1818 – 19 May 1875) from Edinburgh. His name was sometimes recorded officially as Donald. He became a Senator of the College of Justice, referred to as a Honourable Lord.
His mother was Janet Alice Mitchell (18 May 1821 - 31 January 1914) from Edinburgh.[3][4] Daniel and Janet married on 6 September 1843 in Edinburgh.[5]
Donald Mackenzie was born on 10 July 1844 in Edinburgh.[6]

[edit]He died on 15 December 1924 in Oxford.[7] His usual address was 18 Lathbury Road, Oxford.
The value of his estate on death was given as £12,285, 16 shillings and 1 penny.
