Donald MacKeachan (22 August 1838 - 18 December 1901) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Life

J. & W. Campbell owned a warehouse business.[6][7]

daughter Lena Mackeachan of Garmoyle[8]

His father was John McKichan (born c. 1796), a labourer from Torosay in Argyll.[9]

His mother was Catherine Cameron (born c. 1811) from Oban. John and Catherine married on 13 July 1831 in Kilmore and Kilbride parish.

Donald MacKeachan was born on 22 August 1838 in Muckairn.[10]

He married Agnes McCallum.[11]

He was buried in Pennyfuir cemtery, Oban.[16]
