George Dods Mackay (11 January 1896 - 4 July 1960) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life

His father was Augustus George Mackay, a lithographer.[3]
His mother was Janet Young. Augustus and Janet married on 18 September 1890 in Leith, Edinburgh.
George Dods Mackay was born on 11 January 1896 in 182 Easter Road, Edinburgh.[4]
He married Bessie Miller in 1922 in Portobello, Edinburgh.
They had a daughter on 21 February 1924.[5]
