James Nigel McIsaac (18 May 1911 - 24 December 1995) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was John Weston McIsaac (15 May 1860 - 6 March 1938), a glass stainer, designer and painter from Anderston, Glasgow.[3]
His mother was Leeza Glenthorn Shiells (2 November 1877 - 15 February 1960) from Edinburgh.[4] John and Leeza married in 1907 in Portobello, Edinburgh.
James Nigel McIsaac was born on 18 May 1911 in Edinburgh.[5]
He married Mary Wanless Young (22 February 1925 - 14 March 2006) from Biddlestone in Northumberland, England. James and Mart married on 8 April 1960 in Edinburgh.
They had a daughter Anne.

[edit]He died on 24 December 1995 at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.[7]
