Charles McEwen (14 June 1848 - 1892) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]

His father was Thomas McEwen (born c. 1820), a muslin manufacturer from Kirkbean in Kirkcudbrightshire.

His mother was Grace Stevenson. Thomas and Grace married on 9 July 1844 in Glasgow.
