William MacBride (9 June 1855 - 14 April 1913) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His mother was Catherine McBride. There was no father listed on the birth certificate. Catherine was 24 years old, a domestic servant from Paisley.
William MacBride was born in Glasgow on 9 June 1855.
He married Marianne M. Boyle, a sister of Mrs. W. E. Henley. They married in Canongate, Edinburgh in 1885.
