George Logan (27 June 1866 - 30 April 1939) was a Scottish painter and furniture designer.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was John Logan (13 March 1824 - 17 June 1873) from Kilbirnie, Ayrshire.
His mother was Jessie Black (1831 - 1921) from Mauchline, Ayrshire. John and Jessie married on 21 March 1856 in Tradeston, Glasgow.
George Black Logan was born on 27 June 1866 in Beith, Ayrshire.[3]
He married Jenny May Ronald (19 May 1871 - 1930) from Greenock. They married on 3 March 1893 at 4 Nelson Street, Greenock.
They had 5 children.
