Robert Kirkland Jamieson (19 January 1881 - September 1950) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Alexander Jamieson (born c. 1845), a fancy wood box maker from Mauchline in Ayrshire.
His mother was Margaret Gibson (born c. 1845) from Mauchline. Alexander and Margaret married in Mauchline in 1866.
Robert Kirkland Jamieson was born in Lanark on 19 January 1881.
He married Dorothea Medley Selous (c. 1881 - 1 October 1968) from London, England. They married on 9 August 1920 at All Saints, Heathfield, East Sussex.[3]
