Robert Hume (16 February 1861 - 27 July 1937) was a Scottish painter.[1][2] He also was a Hearts goalkeeper.
Life
[edit]His father was Robert Hume [Snr] (born c. 1827), a brass finisher from Glasgow.
His mother was Catherine Hay (born c. 1828) from Edinburgh. Robert [Snr] and Catherine married on 22 February 1850 in Edinburgh.
Robert Hume was born on 16 February 1861 in Edinburgh.
He married Grace Porteous Moffat (11 February 1863 - 15 February 1938). They married in Edinburgh in 1886.
When he was young he played for Hearts as a goalkeeper.[3]
