James Heron (27 June 1847 - 6 March 1928) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was William Heron (2 December 1814 - 27 September 1881), a woollen merchant from Ratho in Midlothian.
His mother was Mary Brown (c. 1822 - 22 February 1884) from Edinburgh. William and Mary married on 23 May 1839 in Edinburgh.
James Heron was born on 27 June 1847 in Edinburgh.[3]

[edit]He died on 6 March 1928 at 7 Warrender Park Crescent, Morningside, Edinburgh. His estate was valued at £449, 1 shilling and 11 pence.
