Ralston Gudgeon (23 June 1910 - 25 April 1984) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
[edit]His father was Robert Ralston Macintosh Gudgeon (c. 1883 - 5 October 1954), a dentist from Ayr.
His mother was Grace Redpath (30 September 1884 - 18 June 1966) from Glasgow. Robert and Grace married on 20 August 1908 in Anderson, Glasgow.
Ralston Robert Blackwood Gudgeon was born on 23 June 1910 in Hillhead, Glasgow.
He married Jessie Cassels Ritchie (1909 - 13 November 1999) from Linlithgow.[3] They married at Gretna in 1937.

[edit]He died suddenly at the age of 73 at his home in Milliken Park, Renfrewshire on 25 April 1984.[6] The funeral was at Linn crematorium.[7]
